One of Familylinks' School Partnership Therapists, Beth Czekaj has been chosen as the West Allegheny Education Association’s 2017 Friend of Education. This prestigious award is awarded annually and is intended for an individual whose leadership, acts, or support has significantly benefited students and teachers in the West Allegheny School District. Below is a little synopsis that I received in an e-mail today from a school counselor.
Beth Czekaj currently services all 5 schools in the West Allegheny School District. One of the school counselors had this to say about Beth: “The WAEA Friend of Education will be honored at the Pennsylvania State Education Association banquet for all honorees from other locals in Allegheny County on May 18th 2017 at 5:30pm. In addition, our Association, along with the administration and support professionals, will honor Beth on the first in-service day of the 2017-18 school year. It goes without saying that she is an invaluable part of our West Allegheny Family and we appreciate what she does for our students and families!”
On behalf of the entire Familylinks team, congratulations Beth! You most definitely deserve this award as you are a great support to the school district, and all of your clients and their families both at the school and in the clinic. We are proud to have you as a part of our team.
