Familylinks Names Ray Herron Chief Financial Officer

Pittsburgh, PA (December 2) – Familylinks announced the appointment of Raymond F. Herron, CPA to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With extensive financial and operational experience spanning over two decades, Herron brings valuable leadership to Familylinks’ executive team. As CFO, Herron will lead Familylinks’ financial strategy and oversee the financial operations for the nonprofit organization.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Ray to Familylinks. In his previous roles, Ray was instrumental in capacity building and developing internal infrastructure,” said Tony Matteo, Chair of Familylinks’ Board of Directors. “These skills will be vital as Familylinks continues to grow and expand as a service provider in western Pennsylvania.”

Prior to joining Familylinks, Herron was the Chief Financial Officer then the Chief Operating Officer at Partner4Work Pittsburgh. Previously he held the position of Corporate Controller at the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh.

“After meeting with the leadership team, I knew Familylinks was the right fit for me,” said Herron. “The mission of Familylinks is one I connect with personally, and I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to support children and families throughout the region.”

Herron earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management from La Roche College, and maintains his Certified Public Accountant license in Pennsylvania.

Herron lives in McCandless with his wife, Tracy, and their three children, Rayann, Alex and Isabella. In his spare time, Herron can be found running, exercising or at a Penguins game.
