Familylinks Promotes Becky Haberstroh and Mark Thomas

Pittsburgh, PA (June 28) – Familylinks announced the promotion of two key members of the leadership team – Becky Haberstroh and Mark Thomas, Director of Business Development and Director of Youth and Family Services, respectively.


Familylinks president and CEO, Stacey Vaccaro noted, “Over the last year, Familylinks has faced many challenges, and while the pandemic forced us to work differently, it has not slowed progress. This is not an easy time to be in human services, and I am proud of our team for never losing sight of the communities we serve, and remaining a constant source of hope. Two of our team members were instrumental leaders throughout the pandemic, and I am excited to announce their well-deserved promotions.”


After more than 40 years of service to Familylinks, and serving in various roles including the Director of Youth and Family Services for 11 years, and the interim COO for the past year, Becky Haberstroh has been promoted to Director of Business Development. In this new role, Becky will provide strategic direction in the areas of program development, geographic expansion, and innovation, as well as oversee new program design and implementation. Becky’s passion and expertise continues to be an invaluable asset to the Familylinks’ team.


Mark Thomas has been promoted to Director of Youth and Family Services (YFS), after serving as the Senior Program Manager in YFS for five years. In this new role, Mark will provide strategic leadership, development, and oversight to Familylinks 11 YFS residential and housing programs. He will continue to support excellence in Familylinks programming and will guide the YFS team as it grows and expands.  Mark has been a member of the Familylinks team for 25 years, and his dedication to the children and families served is unparalleled.
