Outpatient Mental Health - Clinic

If you live with a mental health condition, you’re not alone. One in five Americans will experience some mental health issue in their life. And there’s no age limit: Children, adults and older adults can all find their lives changed by this common problem.

While mental health issues can rob you of your hope, it’s important to know that with treatment, life can be bearable again.

Our outpatient mental health services deliver help on your schedule, at one of our two convenient locations in Pittsburgh.

Who is eligible?

Adults and children age 3 and up with mental health issues that are treatable in an outpatient setting.

What can you expect?

  • You’ll be paired with a caring and compassionate therapist who will work with you to understand your condition and develop the skills to address it.
  • You’ll meet with your therapist at our offices in Shadyside or Banksville.
  • Frequency of sessions will depend on your level of need and your availability.

How do you enroll?

This program is only for students who attend a school in which Familylinks serves. If your child or teen may need help with mental health issues, you should talk to your school administrators. For help outside of schools, you may be interested in our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic or Family-Based Mental Health. For an evaluation and to discuss those programs, contact Familylinks Centralized Intake at 866-583-6003.
