Training and Consultation Services
In helping thousands of struggling people in our region over the last 50 years, Familylinks has learned a lot.
Most importantly, we've learned how to deliver help that's effective, holistic, non-judgmental, compassionate, inclusive and personalized.
How do we achieve that? Famiylinks provides extensive, specialized training for our staff through our Training Institute. Our Training and Consultation Services is a critical component of Familylinks. The training we provide enables our staff to maintain and exceed regulatory licensure standards and further professional and competency development. And this same resource is available to help other organizations and individuals who want to improve their abilities to deliver social services.
Our professional staff provides program consultations to assess your organization and staff training needs. Then we design training and awareness programs to fit those needs.

Our trainings are typically approved for continuing education credits by the Pennsylvania Certification Board, the PA Department of Education for Act 48 Hours, and Licensed Social Work Credits approved by the Pennsylvania Social Work Board.
